ABOUT US
Grand
Island Surgery Center, LLC was established in the summer
of 1998 as a joint venture between a group of Grand Island physicians
and Saint Francis Medical Center. The building project began in October
1998 and was completed in October 1999. The first case was performed
on October 12, 1999, following the state’s inspection and licensure.
Medicare approval was granted on October 28, 1999.
Grand Island
Surgery Center currently performs 7,000 cases annually and has enjoyed
many accomplishments including:
- A 98% patient satisfaction rating
- Accreditation through Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, ensuring the highest quality care
- An infection rate that is well below the national average
Grand Island
Surgery Center specializes in outpatient surgery. The Center contains
4 major operating rooms fully equipped with the latest in operating
technology. In addition, there are 2 rooms designated for gastrointestinal
endoscopic procedures.

the ambulatory focus of Grand Island Surgery Center, our patients enjoy
